India’s First Air Force Heritage Centre – Chandigarh
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the nation’s first Indian Air Force Heritage Centre in Chandigarh’s Sector 18. The Indian Air Force Heritage Centre is a joint project between the Union Territory administration and the IAF. It was set up under a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between both, which was signed last year.
Spread across 17,000 sqft at the Government Press Building, the heritage centre highlights the IAF’s role in various wars. It houses five vintage aircraft and will provide visitors with cockpit exposure and experience with flight simulators. It also houses the first IAF-made patent aircraft Air Force ‘Kanpur-1 Vintage Prototype Aircraft’, a single-engine indigenous flying machine designed and built by the late Air Vice Marshal Harjinder Singh in 1958 at Base Repair Depot Kanpur.

First Movie in Tagin Language of Arunachal Pradesh - Love in 90s
Tagin (Tagen), also known as West Dafla and Bangni is a Sino-Tibetan language spoken in India. The trailer of 'Love in 90s', the first film made in Tagin language of Arunachal Pradesh, was launched by Union Law and Justice Minister Kiren Rijiju on 6th May in New Delhi. The film depicts the vibrant and colorful world of the 90s, based on the Tagin community in Upper Subansiri district of Arunachal Pradesh and the first film made entirely in Tagin language.
Directed by Tapen Natam, the film brings to the national platform the rich culture, tradition and local filmmaking initiatives of Arunachal Pradesh. The film highlights the love story of two youths amidst the challenges faced by this community in Arunachal Pradesh during the 1990s.

First State to Make Digital Health Cards for Children - Uttar Pradesh
The Urban Development Department and Lucknow Smart City launched “School Health Program”. Under the pilot project, the School Health Program has been started by Lucknow Smart City in three schools in Lucknow.
The team is making digital health cards by doing desk-to-desk examinations of the child. The digital health report card is being prepared based on 130 parameters which include physiotherapy, eye test, dental and oral health of children as well as abilities to listen and speak. Workshops are also conducted on topics like child psychology, first aid, health and hygiene.
A unique ID card will be made for each child, through which the child’s parents, school and administrative officials can download this health card. Follow-up of the Digital Health Report is also done every six months. If a child is admitted to the hospital due to illness, then he can be treated through a health cover cashless card of Rs 25,000.

Indian Navy Decommissioned Its Landing Ship INS Magar
INS Magar, the oldest Landing Ship Tank (Large), was decommissioned by the Indian Navy after 36 years of service on May 06 at the Naval base in Kochi.
