State Bank of India (SBI) is the largest commercial bank in India in terms of assets, deposits, branches, customers, and employees. SBI conducts recruitment exams every year to select suitable candidates for various posts such as Probationary officers, Junior Associates or Clerk, Specialist Cadre Officers etc.

The three major exams conducted by State bank of India are:

1. SBI Probationary Officer (PO) Examination
2. SBI Clerk (Junior Associates) Examination
3. SBI Specialist Cadre Officer (SCO/ SO) Examination

1. SBI Probationary Officer (PO) Examination                        

State Bank of India conducts SBI PO exam to select suitable candidates for the post of Probationary Officers across all its branches in India. The exam offers young graduates a direct entry point to the Junior Management Level in the banking sector. SBI PO is one of the most coveted jobs in Banking industry and a dream job for millions of aspirants.

2. SBI Clerk (Junior Associates) Examination

SBI Clerical Exam is conducted to recruit young graduates to the position of Junior Associates for the Clerical Cadre in its branches across the country. This is a great entry-level job for those aspiring to join the banking and financial sector. SBI Clerks (Junior Associates) will have the responsibility of interacting with clients directly and managing cash counters in the bank.

3. SBI Specialist Officers (SO) Examination

State Bank of India recruits candidates to fill the vacancies of  Specialist Officer through SBI SO Exam. The Specialist Officer in SBI is recruited both on a regular and contract basis. Generally the posts offered through SBI SO Exam are IT officers, Deputy Managers (Law), SME Credit Analysts , Deputy Managers (IS Audit), and various other posts.
