Ratheesh C. Nair, a native of Trivandrum had his education in Trivandrum and Russia (former USSR). Since 2000 he has been working as the Director of the Russian Centre of Science and Culture (Russian Cultural Centre) in Trivadnrum which is functioning under the Cultural Department of the Russian Embassy. He was appointed as the Honorary Consul by the government of Russia in 2008 and was recognised by the President of India on 28th day of May 2008. So far Ratheesh C. Nair received 5 medals including the prestigious Pushkin Medal from the Russian President Vladimir Putin. Ratheesh C. Nair is the editor of Novaya Vesna – The New Spring; a quarterly magazine dedicated to Indo-Russian relationship. He also writes columns in leading periodicals and produced the movie ‘Jeevan Mashai’ based on Tarasankar Banarjee’s Arogya Niketan.

There are provisions for doing LLB under distance mode. But you have to attend contact or weekend classes. National open law school Bangalore is good.

There is wide difference between BSc Agriculture and B.Tech agriculture. BSc Agriculture as a pure science focuses on different disciplines of agriculture in the areas of production, procurement, technology, processing, etc. B.Tech focuses on Agriculture engineering, machineries, food engineering, techno, etc. Those who studied at Plus 2 level can join for B.Tech programme through KEAM entrance exam. Whereas selection to BSc Agriculture is through NEET. PCB students can write NEET exam.

You can choose medical biotechnology, clinical biotechnology, virology or other paramedical courses as part of undergraduate or postgraduate programme. Kindly inform whether you are doing Biotechnology at Plus 2 level or UG level. You can also write NEET and try for Medical and allied courses like MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, etc.

Microbiology had lot of opportunities within the country and abroad. After completing BSc Microbiology you can specialise in Clinical Microbiology, Virology, Bacteriology, health analytics, etc from India or abroad. You can do research from India, USA or Canada to become a Scientist in this field.
Sir, I am a 12th grade biology student and I had scored 97% in 11th grade. I am interested to take BSc Agriculture as my course. So please let me know about its job oppurtunities. And also let me know about the ways through which I can reach a better position.

Agriculture graduates can work in Government, public sector, banking, insurance and agri business sectors. After post graduation, they can work as agriculture scientists after completing agriculture research scientist examination. They can also work in academia within the country and abroad. Selection to BSc Agriculture and allied courses in Kerala are through NEET rank list. Students can apply through ICAR- UG examination for 15 percent seats under All India Quota.

B.Tech Computer Science engineering has more opportunities than BSc Computer Science.

Surely. But you are required to do some bridge courses during your vacation period. It can be either online or offline mode. Without basic knowledge in computing and programming you feel difficult to do the course.
