About the course
This course is designed for individuals who have an idea for an electronic product and want to learn how to bring that idea to life. The focus will be on the basics of analog and digital circuit design, schematic design, PCB design, testing, debugging, product casing design and field testing. In the first part of the course, students will learn about the fundamentals of analog and digital circuit design. Topics covered will include components selection, signal flow, voltage and current measurements and basic circuit analysis. Next, students will learn about schematic design, including the creation of diagrams, component selection and layout. This will include hands-on experience with schematic capture tools. After schematic design, students will move on to PCB design, including how to lay out the components, trace routing and drilling. They will learn about the different types of PCB materials, the manufacturing process and DRC.Once the PCB is designed, students will learn how to assemble and test the board. They will learn how to use test equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters to diagnose and fix issues. Finally, students will learn about casing design and field testing. They will learn how to create a functional and aesthetically pleasing case, and how to test the product in real-world conditions. By the end of this course, students will have a complete understanding of the product development process and will have the skills required to bring their ideas to life. The classes will be conducted LIVE and subscribers can access the recorded classes for THREE months. After the successful completion of the course, e-certificates will be issued by Manorama Horizon.
