State, CBSE and ICSE school teachers are eligible to participate

Competition will be held in three categories- Primary (KG -5),
Secondary (5-10) and Senior Secondary (11-12)

Awards and recognition will be given to the winners

Award function and panel discussion of the finalists will be
telecast on Manorama News channel.

What is Guruvandanam?

Guruvandanam is a one-of-a-kind program that aims to recognise and honour the unsung heroes who play a vital role in moulding a child's personality- the teachers. We invite entries from outstanding teachers who believe that they have adopted unique and innovative teaching methods to leave a lasting impact on their students.

Instructions for participants

  • Only a maximum of 3 entries from a school are allowed- one for each category. Multiple entries will result in the disqualification of the school.
  • A video of a unique teaching methodology used, along with a certificate from the head of the institution is to be uploaded.
  • The uploaded video should be in .mp4 format. The size of the file should not exceed 250MB. The video's length should be between 4-7 minutes.
  • The letter from the head of the institution is to be uploaded in .pdf or docx format.
  • The size of the file should not exceed 1 MB.

Selection, evaluation and award announcement will be the sole responsibility of the Manorama Horizon. The management will have the right to make changes in the program.

Winners are liable to cooperate with the Manorama Horizon team for the shooting of the award ceremony.

Manorama Horizon and sister concerns will have all the rights to use the videos uploaded in any of their platforms.
