Eligibility

  • Ability to follow instructions in Malayalam.
  • A working knowledge of using smartphones.
  • A keen interest to capture good videos and tell stories through them.
  • Willingness to attempt assignments given.

Course Requirements

  • A smartphone capable of capturing video and audio with at least 10 gb of free space
  • A selfie stick (Optional)
  • Video editing application Kinemaster to be installed.
  • Headphones for recording sound.

Mr. Salumon.S

Salumon.S has an experience of over 15 years (Industry and Teaching ) He worked as a News cameraman in Indiavision News channel and Mathrubhumi news channel for six years and has an overall experience of eight years in teaching media education. He worked as the Head of Department of BVC and BMMC Departments of OGEI Wayanad and Course Coordinator cum Assistant Professor in DiST Angamaly. He also worked as visual specialist in Chitramalika, Kochi for making ad films, short films, corporate videos etc. Salumon comes with a Master degree in Visual communication from CUSAT.

Jithin Varkey Jose

Jithin Varkey Jose has an experience of 10 years in Visual Media (Production & Teaching) in addition to professional working in Short films and documentaries. Jithin completed his Post graduation in M.A Cinema & Television from St Joseph College of Communication, Chenganassery. He had Started working in the media industry at SAFARI TV Channel as a Visual Editor. He was associated with many programs in the channel, the major programs were “Aa Yathrayil” & “Opera House” and “Weekend Destination” Jithin Worked as Assistant professor at St Thomas College, Thrissur as Faculty for Cinematography and Visual Editing.
