IBPS PO: Interview and Provisional Allotment

The final interview session is conducted by the Participating Organisations and coordinated by the Nodal Bank in each State/ UT with the help of IBPS to the shortlisted candidates from Main Examination (Online).

The interview will be conducted by the authorities at selected centres and they will inform other information related to the interview (date and time of the interview, the centre, address of the venue etc.) Candidates can download their interview call letters from IBPS website.

No request will be considered such as a request regarding change in date, the centre will not be entertained. However, the conducting agencies reserve the right to change the date/ venue/ time/ centre etc. of the interview or hold a supplementary process for particular date/session/venue/centre/set of candidates at its discretion, under unforeseen circumstances, if any.

A merit list will be generated after the Interview Process of IBPS PO 2020 Exam has been conducted. Candidates who make it to the list will be thus offered the joining letter by the Bank of their choice.

Marking scheme

A candidate should qualify both in the Online Main Exam and interview and be sufficiently high in the merit to be shortlisted for subsequent provisional allotment process, details of which will be made available subsequently on authorised IBPS website.

Requirements

While appearing for the Interview, the candidate should produce valid prescribed documents given below. In the absence of documents, the application from the candidates shall be cancelled.

Also, candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PWBD categories have to submit certificates in support of it at the time of interview. The prescribed formats of SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PWBD certificates to be submitted at the time of interview can be downloaded from the authorised IBPS website.

Provisional allotment

Based on various guidelines and policies of the Government of India along with the vacancies available, the candidates selected from the interview will be provisionally allotted to one of the participating organisations.

Provisional allotment does not constitute an offer of employment. Issuance of offer of appointment including terms and conditions, formalities for verification, joining etc. is solely the decision of the Participating Organisations and shall be final and binding. IBPS shall have no role therein. Any queries in this regard shall be directed to the participating organisations only.
